Reiki & Recovery

A new offering facilitated by Suzie Paszek, (Reiki Master Teacher) who discovered Reiki as part of her own journey of healing and personal growth.

Reiki & Recovery is a donation-based community peer support group for anyone navigating recovery, healing, and personal growth. Through Reiki, grounding, meditation, and heart-centered practices, we explore healing on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.

This is a secular, inclusive space and is not therapy, counseling, or clinical treatment. You do not need to be Reiki attuned or certified—you can simply come to receive, learn, share, or hold space.

This offering is free to the community. Donations are welcome but never required.

Come with an open heart, open mind, and open ears.

Suzie Paszek is a Reiki Master Teacher who discovered Reiki as part of her own journey of healing and personal growth. Reiki has become an important part of her life and a practice she feels called to share with others. Through Reiki & Recovery, Suzie hopes to create a safe, supportive space where people can connect, learn, receive, and explore their own healing journey. (Scroll to bottom to read more about Suzie)

✅ Circle is limited to 10 to keep this offering intimate for close connections to be made, so registration is required to attend this event.

✅ Come just as you are. The most important part is the call to be here ❤️

✅ Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early to get settled and leave padding for traffic delays (doors open 30 min. before starting) late arrivals cannot be permitted as this causes disruption to the circle. Doors are locked at start time and we begin promptly at 6:30. If you are unable to make it, please message us in the app or call/text 810-316-0803 ASAP. Cancellations with-in 24 hours of the event and no shows are non-refundable.

✅ This donation-based offering supports our vision of inclusive, accessible healing. Please choose the rate that reflects your truth and supports our shared values. We need are in need of funding for sustainability. Minimum donation required to attend: $11.11 per person to insure attendance. You may select a higher amount if you're able to donate more, and cash donations in person are accepted as well. Meet Suzie

Suzie Paszek, Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master Teacher

Suzie is an Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master Teacher and Certified Mindfulness Teacher with a passion for recovery, healing, mindfulness, and personal growth. She believes healing is a personal journey and that supportive, inclusive spaces can help people reconnect with themselves while navigating recovery and life’s transitions.

While Suzie will always honor the traditions, teachings, and practices of Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki, she also hopes to explore what Reiki has to offer individuals and communities beyond what is currently being practiced. She believes the possibilities for healing and incorporating Reiki into our daily lives are limitless. As she continues on her Reiki journey, Suzie plans to pursue education in different Reiki paths and lineages, expanding her knowledge, experience, and understanding of this beautiful life-force energy healing modality.

Suzie currently facilitates Reiki & Recovery, a free, secular, and inclusive peer-support group for anyone navigating recovery, healing, and personal growth.

The group brings together community, Reiki, mindfulness, and heart-centered practices in a supportive environment. All pathways of recovery are welcome, and participants do not need to be Reiki attuned or have previous experience with Reiki.

Future Offerings

As Suzie continues to grow with Healing Light Studios, she looks forward to expanding the Reiki and mindfulness offerings to include:

Reiki sessions may incorporate crystals, tuning forks, and essential oils, depending on the needs and/or requests of the client.

Meet Jess,

Founder of Healing Light Studios

Somatic Healing Guide. Space Holder. Spiritual Bridge.

Jessina Mehu (she/her) is a trauma-informed somatic healing guide, modern-day eclectic witch, birth and rebirth doula, intuitive healer, and single mom whose lived experience has become the foundation of her life’s work.

After surviving childhood abuse, domestic violence, religious trauma, profound grief, and the loss of her late husband, Jess discovered that healing wasn’t about becoming someone new—it was about remembering who she had always been. That realization now shapes every offering at Healing Light Studios.

Known for creating safe, grounded bridges between science and spirituality, body and soul, ancient wisdom and modern understanding, Jess helps others reconnect with themselves through compassionate, trauma-informed care that honors each person’s unique path. Rather than leading people toward a predetermined destination, she gently walks beside them as they discover what healing, spirituality, and wholeness mean for themselves.

Jess openly embraces the path of a modern-day eclectic witch and feels deeply called to help heal the witch wound by creating spaces where people can safely explore earth-based spirituality, intuition, and ritual without fear or shame. She believes spirituality is deeply personal and that every individual deserves the freedom to discover what feels true for their own heart and soul.

Drawing from both lived experience and extensive professional training—including birth doula care, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, Kundalini Rebirthing, Reiki, chakra and energy healing, somatic healing, breathwork, meditation, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed practices—Jess creates experiences that are both deeply intuitive and thoughtfully grounded.

Through weekly classes, monthly Full Moon rituals, Grief Circles, one-on-one private sessions, private group experiences, and the transformational Rising Goddess Journey, Jess invites others into safe, grounded spaces where they can heal, rise, remember, and become.
