Jess is here to guide you back into your power. With a strong call to be of service, she is passionate about holding space for others to heal, offering guidance and support on their transformational journey. Her own healing path—from surviving abuse and deep losses to navigating life after trauma with CPTSD, anxiety, ADHD and emotional dysregulation—has cultivated profound compassion and insight into human suffering. She gently and intuitively guides students through somatic healing tools and embodied practices that have been instrumental in her own transformation. Drawing from her extensive background in somatic healing, Jess weaves together her certifications in trauma-informed Kundalini yoga, meditation, breathwork, EMDR, EFT tapping, and energy healing. Her approach blends ancient wisdom with modern modalities, creating deeply restorative experiences that foster balance, transformation, and self-reclamation. Her offerings include weekly live classes (starting in July 2025), workshop series, recorded video channels, and 1:1 sessions, available virtually via Zoom or in-studio for those local to Howell, Michigan.

“Jessina has been an incredible support system for me throughout my life’s ups and downs. She’s been like a wise mentor, gently guiding me while I have been going through some big life changes with her encouragement, advice, and unwavering support. As a yoga practitioner, her classes create a calm, safe, and warm atmosphere filled with positive energy. Even though I’m a newbie to yoga and I still have a lot to learn, Jessina is so welcoming and explains things in a digestible way that’s easy to understand.  Her reminders to be gentle with ourselves and adapt as needed are super helpful, especially for someone like me who’s new to it and trying to get back in shape. Music is a big part of my life, and her incorporation of music with movement and breathing really elevates the experience! That’s something that really stands out for me and helps me get into it! Jessina’s teachings and classes have had a huge impact on me. They’ve unexpectedly given me emotional releases during sessions. It’s been an exciting journey to explore this new chapter with such a passionate and dedicated instructor. Her guidance is really inspiring me to keep learning and growing in the practices I’ve learned from her. I highly recommend her classes to anyone looking for a transformative yoga experience. One thing that sets Jessina apart is her unique style and approach. She goes beyond traditional yoga practices and creates a nurturing and empowering space for women to discover support in a holistic way. She’s an amazing soul and I’m so happy I get to learn from her!” -Amanda Simmons

Mikayla is a 500-Hour RYT who specializes in Vinyasa Yoga. Mikayla first discovered yoga at age 13 while looking for a way to get more active, but really fell in love with the practice years later after meeting an instructor who focused heavily on breath work. The way her mind cleared when she was able to focus on breath amazed her, and is what inspired her to become a yoga teacher and share this ancient practice with others. Since then Mikayla always turns to yoga when she needs to get her thoughts straight. Now she finds the most meditation in movement, enjoying a practice that challenges both the mind and the body. This shines through her teaching style- by building heat through dynamic and fun movement, she challenges her students to find playfulness in trying new things. Mikayla believes in the importance of giving variations, always trying to give her students a way to make their practice fit their needs by offering options to either add challenge or invite ease. Her classes are inviting to anyone looking to find mindfulness, movement, and a bit of play. For Mikayla, one of her favorite parts of class is when she falls and has to get back up again. She aims to ignite that same feeling of joy in showing you you're able to try again. Mikayla completed her first 200-hour teacher training at Divine Power Yoga in South Lyon, focusing on Vinyasa yoga. In 2024 she traveled to Lakshmi Risings School for Yoga & Wellness to complete her 300-hour teacher training where she continued her focus on Vinyasa Yoga. For Mikayla, being a teacher is about staying a student and is always pursuing a deeper understanding of the practice of yoga.

Hi! I’m Bri! I’ve loved yoga since taking my first yoga class as a teenager. Over time I developed a more personal commitment and connection to the practice as I learned just what a beneficial impact it can weave into your life well beyond the mat. It has been my rock through many trials over the past several years, has helped me learn myself on a deeper level, and has brought the most inspiring, supportive, and encouraging community of people into my life. For those reasons, I can’t help but want to spread that love and healing with others. I’m currently a 500-yr certified yoga instructor. It is so meaningful for me to introduce people to the depth of the practice of yoga, beyond the postures, to the ways in which this practice brings you home to yourself, to all the inner nooks and crannies, to shine healing light into the shadows. In a world that can feel so chaotic, yoga allows us an opportunity to focus inward and find our inner strength and peace – our inner compass that guides us through the turbulence of life. I enjoy many styles of yoga but find a particularly deep connection to guiding practices in yin, restorative, meditation and breathwork. These slower practices offer time to slow down, connect with the sensations in our body, and allow the mind to slow those inner spinning wheels so that we can land in a space of inner calm and peace. The more we commit to a routine practice of finding this inner place, the more readily and easily it is available to us as we move through life. I practice yoga to maintain my own center and balance when life can make things feel topsy turvy. As we each focus on our own healing and inner calm, finding that inner light, we become a collective of compassion, peace, and light that spreads to those around us. I truly believe this is a key way we can do our part to heal the world – by healing our Self, and shining that healing light outward.
